Complexity and Emergence

Properties of complex behavior resulting from emergence 1)  VERY simple behavior on a lower level results in complex behavior no the group level 2)  These behaviors are computationally irreducible...  in other words, the rules that produce complex behavior are impossible to discover by observing the top-level behavior.
